COOLIDGE — Despite a light drizzle that rolled in by midday Saturday, the 38th annual Cotton Days festival went off without a hitch.
The annual festival, sponsored by the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce, brought a number of family-fun programs dispersed throughout the weekend.
Saturday was the height of the event designed to pay tribute to a crop that’s played a key role in the economy of Coolidge and the surrounding region in Pinal County for decades.
